Emily J. Kirk

Emily Kirk joined SimmonsCooper's growing business litigation team in 2006. Before joining the firm, she served as legal counsel for U.S. Senator Richard Durbin, where she worked on numerous civil service personnel and food safety issues, including provisions that were included in the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness Response Act of 2002.

Emily earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology, from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
