Jeffrey S. Cooper

Jeff Cooper is an attorney and the former managing partner of SimmonsCooper. Under the leadership the firm grew steadily from a staff of around 100 to more than 350, including over 60 attorneys.

Jeff expanded the firm's asbestos and mesothelioma practice significantly, while still giving clients a high level of personal attention. He also led SimmonsCooper in bold new directions, launching business and intellectual property practices.

Before he joined SimmonsCooper, Jeff worked at a Chicago law firm representing all of the rail labor unions in the United States and also served as an Assistant State's Attorney for Madison County and as the City Prosecutor for Granite City, Illinois.

Jeff is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Regional Commerce and Growth Association and is the Chairman of St. Louis Soccer United, the group attempting to bring a MLS team to St. Louis.
