John A. Barnerd

Since 2002, firm partner John Barnerd has dedicated his practice to representing victims of mesothelioma. He has a thorough understanding of the personal, legal and financial challenges faced by victims of the disease.  

Prior to joining SimmonsCooper, John served for two years as Assistant State’s Attorney for Madison County, Illinois.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois and graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri.
