Stephen C. Jones

Steve Jones is the founding partner of SimmonsCooper’s securities litigation division. Over the last few years, Steve has helped recover sums amounting to millions of dollars on behalf of over 200 investors that lost money due to broker misconduct.* Steve currently leads our institutional investors group and qui tam practice area, which protects whistleblowers while working to uncover and prosecute government fraud.  

Steve has experience working with arbitration panels and local, state and federal courts. He was part of a team that briefed and argued the Disher case before the U.S. Supreme Court, successfully overturning an erroneous 7th Circuit decision against his client.  

Before beginning his law practice, Steve was a financial analyst, focusing on the valuation and acquisition of target companies.
