Welcome to SimmonsCooper's Mesothelioma Support blog. The purpose of this blog is to provide is to create safe place for patients and families to learn more about mesothelioma and asbestos. We hope that it will become a place for new information, news, stories, ideas, education, inspiration and much, much more.
Over the years our firm has been fortunate to attract people that are not only knowledgeable about mesothelioma and asbestos, but are passionate about helping others. One of those people is Lynn Collins. Lynn will be an active participant of this blog. She has worked with patients and families affected by asbestos for over 10 years, helping them navigate the medical, emotional and legal issues that wear so heavily on a family facing a mesothelioma diagnosis.
Lynn will be contributing to an on-going series that looks at the well-known book, "100 Quesions & Answers About Mesothelioma." She'll be adding her personal stories and insights to the wealth of information the book already provides.
We'll also be adding educational videos, many of which can be found at the Mesothelioma Video Library, a resource we created for patient and family education earlier this year.
As always, we welcome your feedback, stories and participation. This mesothelioma blog should be a collaboration of knowledge and ideas. Our firm will continue to do the best we can to fight on behalf of the hard-working families affected by this terrible - and unnecessary - cancer.
