SimmonsCooper Employee Charitable Foundation
The result of their creativity and heartfelt commitment, the SimmonsCooper Employee Charitable Foundation (SCECF), now provides financial and volunteer support to local charitable organizations.
In the Foundation’s first two years alone, it has raised more than $380,000 for local charities and provided thousands of hours of volunteer work for area organizations.

Organizations Supported
SCECF has supported a wide variety of organizations in Madison County and throughout the greater St. Louis area. The Foundation has also lent its support to a number of individuals and families with urgent personal or medical needs.

SCECF Mission and Guidelines
The SimmonsCooper Employee Charitable Foundation’s mission is to be an innovative resource dedicated to supporting our community’s individuals, families and organizations through charitable financial giving and volunteer programs
The Foundation is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation that has received federal tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service as a Section 501(c)(3) charitable support organization.
The SCECF does not provide grants to political organizations or religious organizations for religious purposes. Additionally, family members of SimmonsCooper LLC will not be provided with funds from the Foundation.
The Foundation’s mission is to be an innovative resource dedicated to supporting our community’s individuals, families, and organizations through charitable financial giving and volunteer programs.
Who Qualifies:
- IRS Approved Charities - a few restrictions apply. The Foundation will not approve gifts that deliberately undermine the freedoms guaranteed in the United States Constitution.
- Personal Tragedy – funds established to assist local individuals/families with medical and/or personal expenses.
- Civic Organizations
Who Does Not Qualify:
- Employees of SimmonsCooper
- Immediate family of employees
- Clients
- Any organization directly affiliated with the Firm
- Any political organization
Submit a request
All requests must be received in writing or via e-mail and include the specific donation amount or number of volunteers requested, a detailed description of how the donation will be used and information about the soliciting organization or individual (contact person, name, phone, address, etc.).
