SimmonsCooper Recognized for Generosity

The following mention recently appeared in an Illinois State Bar Association publication. 

Generosity recognized 

The East Alton-based law firm of SimmonsCooper has been recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the Most Generous St. Louisans for its contributions to area charities.

SimmonsCooper made a $10.5 million pledge in 2005 to the Southern Illinois University Medical School to fund a cancer institute for prevention and treatment. The Business Journal provided an additional donation, which was accepted by Jeff Cooper of the law firm and Dean Kevin J. Dorsey of the medical school.
